About the Event
The training begins in the synagogue mock-up environment with role-players positioned throughout the facility. Under the disorienting conditions of strobing fire alarm lights and realistic active shooter audio playing through the PA system, teams must simultaneously focus on neutralizing the active threat while guiding congregants to designated safe areas, requiring quick decision-making and clear communication.
As the scenario unfolds, participants must make real-time decisions while communicating via radio with simulated 911 dispatch. They'll coordinate their response with arriving law enforcement teams, practicing proper communication protocols and command structure integration.
Throughout the scenario, participants will encounter situations requiring immediate medical response. They'll need to apply their Stop the Bleed training while maintaining situational awareness and coordinating with incoming EMS personnel. This includes establishing casualty collection points and managing resources under pressure.
